Got Heart Planner Giveaway

Verabear of Where the Moon Shines is also hosting her first giveaway and I learned it from Bloguardian Hellsite: Overcashed while doing my EC dropping yesterday. Verabear will draw a winner on December 26 – meaning there will only be one winner who will get a free Heart Planner worth Php500. Aw! I hope I am that blessed winner :D .

To quote the description in Verabear’s site, the planner is

Featuring at least twelve indigenous communities in the Philippines, the paintings of an Obo Manobo, Retchor “Ettok” Umpan, and passages written by young indigenous peoples themselves, the GOT HEART 2010 PLANNER is both interactive and youthful with its numerous activities and amazing information. The Planner also has different activities that will allow you to discover more about our IPs in fun and light ways. Aside from promoting love of culture, the GOT HEART PLANNER proceeds will help fund the foundation’s projects for the indigenous peoples, specially a T’boli School in Cotabato.

Isn’t that is so awesome???

Marriage And Beyond Second Blogversary Contest

While I am finishing my remaining task, I decided to do drop more ECs (multi-tasking is not new to me ;) .  And while dropping,  I landed on Marriage and Beyond‘s abode and discover that the owner of the site (probably a couple) is currently running a contest. What interests me is the prize of the contest – Dr. Dobson’s Dare To Discipline book. Well, I want to have a copy of the book because I this book is the prequel of the book I am currently reading -”Strong-Willed Child.” In addition to the book, the owner of the site (i will try to find out who in the coming days hihihi…) is giving away Php 500 Worth of Starbucks Gift Cheque.  I would not tell you that the rules of the contest are so easy and that you can find them here so you wouldn’t attempt to join the contest (the less number of participant the big chance for me win LOL!). And please don’t mind to leave a comment daily so your chance to win will be lessen.  But of course, you know that they are just a joke (jokes are half-meant by the way :D ) Seriously,  please join the contest, and if you win, just give the book to me ;) LOL!

I Received My Johnson’s Body Care Gift Package

Well, it is true indeed! I have it in my hands. I seldom register for free gifts because most of the time it is just a hoax. I don’t know what made me click the link provided  by Mommy Rubz of Pinay Mommy Online on her post about Johnson’t Free Gift but I am glad I did. I received the gift very early last Sunday.  It was my husband who accepted the gift from the courier.  I wish all my friends whom I invited to register didn’t ignore the invitation. And thanks to mommy Rubz for sharing the information and link.
Johnson Gift Package Limited Edition
For those who haven’t register yet, you can still register here but you need to hurry. Because it is only good until supplies last.

A Quick Summary Of My Day

This is a tasks-filled day ;) I am supposed to be in bed already because my tired eyes are almost closed but I may not have the time tomorrow to post. So sleepy as I am, I still want to get this post done.

As I mentioned, this is tasks-filled day – meaning, I have done so many tasks today. In much simpler words, I am already tired :D Physically and mentally, I’m already drained. But when I account the things I’ve done, I realized that it is all worth it ;)

However tired am I, for me, this is another great day because God gave the strength and wisdom to accomplish the things that I must accomplish :) Tomorrow is another day! (Just like in a local tv ad. ;) ) In other words, today is just the beginning. LOL!

So here are the tasks that I was able to accomplish for today.

* Just finished EC Dropping and Blog Hopping
* Finished the SQL script that our team need for data migration. I only need to verify if the result is correct. This can wait until tomorrow because my mind can no longer analyze properly.
* Finished our four-day old laundry clothes. We have a washer, but not the sophisticated one. I need to rinse the clothes manually. The dirty clothes are not that many yet but still I can feel some back pain and yikes, my hands seem swelling… Hmmm… maybe they are in their normal size. I just didn’t notice before that my too much weight gained already affected my hands hehehe
* Played with my daughter outside for 30 minutes. She’s pretending that she is Darna (I don’t know where she learned that because we don’t watch any tv series anymore… probably during her short vacation with granny). She kept on asking me that I positioned her on my arms as if she’s flying and then I will run so she can feel that she is really flying. My daughter is not chubby but not that thin too. Imagine the strength that I need because were doing that for almost 30 minutes. Daig ko pang nag-barber ( I surpass weight-lifting using barbel (tama ba translation hahahaa????)) – Is this God’s answer to my prayer that He gives a determination to lose weight?
* For another 30 minutes, she was sitting on my lap while she was blowing her bubbles… By the way, hubby is in church during that time. He has a class on our church’s bible seminary.
* While I was working this morning, my daughter insisted to sit on my lap. She was in front on my computer too during my call with our client.
* Was able to help two mommy bloggers on their stuff ;) I am so glad that they trust me to give them a hand ;)

Good night and good morning to everyone :)

Our Househelp Said Goodbye :(

We don’t have a helper anymore since Saturday. Our almost a year helper, bade her farewell last Saturday morning.  She’s been my daughter’s playmate whenever I am busy with my full-time job. (I still attend to my daughter’s other needs like feeding her, bathing her, administering her vitamins, etc. eventhough we have a helper). Although, there are times that I need to call  her attention for not doing her duties correctly, she can be trusted when it comes to money. And that is one important trait that I really value not only in a helper but in any person.

It will be tougher for me these coming days because aside from my full-time job, I need to do the household chores that she left. I also need to be available when my daughter needs a playmate. Most probably, I wouldn’t be able to report to office for the coming days except for the week that our CEO will be here in Philippines. My blogging and blog hopping time will also be much lesser.

I am praying that God gives us a replacement who is also of the same faith and biblical stand. There will be times that my daughter will be left to her and I don’t want that something against my belief will be taught (intentional or unintentional) to my daughter because that would bring confusion to her very fragile mind.

And with all the tasks that are in my plates, there is a verse that I remembered and claimed. It can be found in Philippians 4:13. It says, “I can do all things through Christ who strengtheneth me.”
