Promo Fare

Our trip last week was via AirPhil Express. And as I mentioned on my previous post, our tickets for Tagbilaran-Manila-Tagbilaran only cost around Php 650. I was able to get the Php 88 promo fare last February. During that time, the tax applied is still based on the net fare. But recently, when I tried to avail the piso fare promo for my friends, the piso becomes Php 600+ for one-way. I noticed that the tax increased and the web charge.

I considered it a blessing that we were able to get that very cheap airfare. Our next trip will be on November but our fare is way more expensive. I hope I can still get such cheap fare on our trips next year

Boarding On An Airplane

My daughter is getting accustomed to traveling by plane. She now awaits for the selling time of snacks during the flight. She no longer struggles to be out from the seat belt until the sign for seat belt is off. Most of all, she no longer complaint about her ear when the plane is taking off.

She entertains herself by looking on the pages of the in-flight magazine and the beautiful clouds formation. She also asks questions from time to time specially if she saw any unfamiliar thing. One time she asked me what was on the hand of one of the passengers who was listening from her 8gb ipod nano. Then she asked me why a woman was covered from head to toe, why a group of blind men/women were singing on the airport and why were the people giving them money. She has so many questions and sometimes I also have a hard time explaining things to her.

I am glad that boarding on a plane is not new to her. And though we encounter not-so-familiar things to from time to time, I am glad that she never fears boarding a plane.

Attending A Church Camp

I will be joining a church camp here in Bohol which starts tonight until Thursday. I ‘ve been working more than eight hours, even until wee hours of the day, for the last few days to make up for the days I will not be able to work. As expected, under eye dark circles are now getting visible.

We will be leaving in few hours (the campsite is located on the opposite end of Bohol) but I am still in front of my pc trying to finish as many tasks as I can.

Trip Preparation

Hubby is coming home this Saturday I’m excited to see him to know how big he becomes after one month of being away from me and my daughter ^___^. He will be back for our trip to their province on Monday. He will be in Manila for only a day because on Monday, we will be flying to his home province.

I am supposed to be preparing for our trip but I am still busy with so many stuffs. Although I’ve bought some of the things that we need to bring, I haven’t started packing them yet. I hope I can pack them completely on Saturday. I don’t want to forget anything that we will be needing especially my daughter’s things. I want our trip to be a hassle-free and a smooth one. I have to focus on packing this weekend that I have to set aside checking out about lipofuze review. Forgive this lady too if I can’t return your visits these days.

Company Outing Photos

I promised to post some photos of our company outing. Instead of posting them in this site, I decided to post them on my other site. Though our vacation was not my dream Disney vacations, we still enjoyed it very much! My daughter never got tired of going back to the beach. The first thing she wanted to do after she opened her eyes in the morning was to ride on her floater and enjoy the sea. Most importantly, we had three days together away from the rat-race life in the metro.

Anyway, you may take a peek on the photos here whenever it pleases you I also included some photos of mine (sigh!) for you to have an idea how wide I am . You can laugh to your heart’s content but pleaaaaaaseeeeeee just don’t let me know it, ok?

Sciezka Is Now Well

I am thankful that daughter is now feeling good. Her cough is gone. She’s happier because she can eat ice cream again.

We went to Quezon City Parks & Wild Life last Saturday afternoon. We already went there before but daughter were able to appreciate the animals more last Saturday. Probably because she’s already familiar with the animals in the pictures so she was excited to see the real ones

My daughter is camera shy. She do not want us to take her pictures so I made a deal with her that if she would let us took some shots, then we would proceed to Quezon City Memorial Circle. She loves playing on the rubber playground. Thus, she agreed!

Unplanned Swimming Getaway

The initial plan was to have a day trip to Baguio last August 21 -we would leave Manila @ around 12 midnight of August 21 and we would leave Baguio around 6 pm of the same day. Worst come to worst, we might spend a night in Baguio if everybody would be too tired to travel home. This was my suggestion to my friend last August 16 because I knew that August 21 was a holiday and I was expecting the payment for the part-time work I’ve accepted. I gave my friend a heads -up regarding the status of my pay last Wednesday when we met at the prayer meeting. I told her that in case the money didn’t arrive on Thursday morning, we might postpone our trip. Unfortunately, I didn’t receive the payment. Of course, we can’t go there without the money

The whole day of Thursday, my mind was set that my daughter and I would just stay at home and probably just have a walk in the afternoon of the next day. Early evening of Thursday, my friend texted me and suggested that we just proceed with the trip but with a nearer location. She suggested to go to Subic, have some swimming and go for a joy-ride. I was really hesitant because of budget though I am sure that my daughter and my husband would really enjoy the swimming. She kept on convincing me and promised to shoulder a bigger slice on the expense. After conferring with my husband, we decided to go.

It was really fun for my daughter and my husband. They enjoyed swimming especially my daughter because even when we were about to go home she was still insisting to swim. And I enjoyed watching them. This was also the first time my daughter to bath in the rain.

After the swimming we went to Club Morocco. The place is undoubted beautiful before but now, the place lost its life. The place is very lonely. I only noticed a guest or two and even the staffs were only few. According to my friend, the rates of this place is quite expensive. You can only get lower rates if you are a member. I don’t know if the owner is still earning from this investment, but I am sure that the money invested in the place is really a big.

Anyway, I want to share with you some of the photos of our unplanned swimming trip.

My Little Miss

An Independence Attack!

Yesterday, since it was a non-working holiday, my husband and I brought our daughter to Rizal Park commonly known as Luneta. Our original plan was to brought our daughter to Ninoy Aquino Parks and Wildlife (I thought it’s National Parks and Wildlife, silly me! hehehe) for her to see the real animals she can identify in her posters and dvds (especially, monkeys like boots in Dora the Explorer) then proceed to Quezon City Memorial Circle for some strolling and biking.

But my daughter took her nap a bit longer and we were afraid that we may not be able make it to the Parks and Wildlife since it would close at around 5 or 6 PM. So we decided to visit Luneta instead since my daughter was never been there and the last time I visited the park was three years ago (if my memory do not fail me).

My husband and I both failed to anticipate that there might be some program being held there in the celebration of the Independence Day. We only realized it when we reached the place. But we were thankful that the park was not that crowded and we could still roam around.

After riding off from the cab (we don’t have our own car ), we headed to the area where there were fountains. We took some pictures of course. Suddenly, in just a nick of time that we took our eyes off my daughter, a litte boy, probably just few months older than our daughter, attacked our daughter. We just saw him bitting my daughter’s head while tightly holding my daughter’s face. I was really shocked and I immediately pulled my daughter away and carried her but I made sure that I would not make the damage bigger. The companions of the boy took the boy as well (they are farther from us) and just uttered, “nanggigil na naman.” My daughter was too afraid to cry (I was the one who almost cried). She just bore her face on my shoulder and hugged me so tight. My husband checked her head and her face. There were three long scratches on her left cheek and another small one on her brow. Thank God that the scratches were not deep.

One of the companion of the boy said sorry but no one among them (they were three) checked the damage their boy had done to my daughter. I did not even heard them reprimanded the boy nor told the boy that what he did was wrong.

We just left the area and find another place. Maybe my daughter was just too happy to be in a new place and see fountains that she immediately forgot what happened. After a while, she already managed to walk again and utter her usual words. But she was not in the mood for pictures.

My husband was teasing my daughter that she should bite the boy also but I told my daughter that she should love the boy because the Bible says “Love your enemy.” Of course, my husband was just teasing my daughter to lighten her mood.
