Today’d theme for Mommy Moments is about Cars and Kids.

This is my daughter’s official car errr bike! Ever since we bought this bike a year ago, it has been her service when we go to church or any nearby place. My daughter is not fond of walking, in other words, she’s lazy! She always want to be carried. This was also the reason why we bought this bike, for convenience. But this bike already retire. I will tell the story on another post.

So where is the car? You are impatient, lol! We don’t have a car, yet LOL. But I don’t see it as lack on our part. Although, I must be honest that having a car gives so much convenience. We already prayed for it and I believe God has prepared it. He is just waiting for the perfect time to give it to us. But while waiting for God’s answer to our prayer, He sent a part time car. What I mean is, He gave us a friend who shares her car with Ezka.  Since the time  my daughter started attending church, ten days after she was born, her Ninang Myra almost always takes her home. Daughter gets too familiar with her Ninang’s car to the extent that my she will leave us – me and my husband – just be able to get a ride on that car.

She’s trying to open the door. This is right after the midweek service.

My daughter feels at home on her Ninang Myra’s car. Every after worship service, her poor Ninang Myra is obliged to take her home. During the times that her Ninang can’t bring her home, she would cry hysterically as if  the car is carnapped. That’s how my daughter love this car.  This also the car we used as bridal car when my husband and I get married.

I really took time last Wednesday to take  my daughter’s pictures on her Ninang’s car for two reasons. First, for Mommy Moment entry and second, as souvenir. Sooner or later,  her Ninang Myra might sell the car and get a new one. At least I have something to share with her when she grows up.

But since I am loaded with tasks today, we might just go there tomorrow night.

The reason why we will visit a Smart Wireless center is to to avail my freebie. I learned through SmartBro portal last night that I am entitled to avail one of their freebies: Samsung Phone, SmartBro Broadband plug-in, mp3 player and an HP 3-in-1 printer. I am planning to avail the HP 3-in-1 printer because our three-year old printer might say good bye anytime. The freebie is very timely because a new printer is one of our must to buy these year. This is another unexpected blessing.

What amaze about the dogs is that they don’t seem disabled. They are very brave dogs. They bark to those who come near them. But though they want to run after these spectators, they simple couldn’t

They are just dogs but they don’t let their disabilities overcome them. As human being, created in God’s image, aren’t we suppose to be better than these dogs in facing our own weaknesses. Let these dogs be a reminder and encouragement to us

We went to Quezon City Parks & Wild Life last Saturday afternoon.  We already went there before but daughter were able to appreciate the animals more last Saturday. Probably because she’s already familiar with the animals in the pictures so she was excited to see the real ones

My daughter is camera shy. She do not want us to take her pictures so I made a deal with her that if she would let us took some shots, then we would proceed to Quezon City Memorial Circle.  She loves playing on the rubber playground. Thus, she agreed!

The purpose of Word filled Wednesday is to share God’s word through photo’s & a verse!

There is no brighter light to guide our journey here on earth than the Word of God.

If this will be always the case, I might just buy a rechargeable battery and charger. I think this is more practical and less expensive than buying two batteries every month. What do you think? Is it a wise decision?

Though she’s from cough & fever, I am glad that her body didn’t lose so much weight. Unlike her previous sicknesses which tremendously affected her appetite.  The lens of the camera caught her while watching her favorite show, Dora the Explorer.

The first reason why I chose this camera is because of its optical zoom which is 12x. I prefer camera’s with bigger optical zoom rather than digital zoom. The second reason is the video of this camera is already HDD.  The third is its Li-On battery.  I am not a photography enthusiast. My only main concern is to be able to capture my daughter’s milestones, important church and family activities.  And of course, photos makes one blogging more colorful and alive.

I thank God for using a friend/officemate so I can buy this camera in advance

It is Mommy Moments day again! The theme today is quite different. Joining mommies will talk about their First Aid Tips.

Here in our house, we have the basic first aid kits which includes, alcohol, Betadine, Band-Aid and paracetamol. Salbutamol nebule and Lagundi syrup for kids are also always available for my daughter’s asthma.

Here are some of the basic First Aid procedures that we had performed in the house.

Minor cut – wash the wound with running water. If the bleeding doesn’t  stop, sprinkle someinstant  coffee powder on the wound. We drop some betadine after the bleeding and cover it with band-aid.

Minor burn – we apply ointment for burn. If the ointment is not available, we use the toothpaste.

So far, only these two accidents usually that happen inside our house.
