I am officially launching my “Operation Back To School” project today! This project is a fund-raising project for the school supplies of some 20 to 25 kids here in Bohol. I came to know these kids through the Good News Club program of our church. I desire to give these kids a little joy of having new sets of school supplies come this June. And if there will be some extra funds, I am planning to treat these kids to Jollibee or McDonalds. Most of the kids haven’t experienced to eat there because for them it is already a luxury. And I want them to enjoy that “luxury” even once in their childhood.
I know I can’t do this project alone (even if I want to). My fund is also limited. So now, I am looking for others who are willing and able to help me in this endeavor. I will really be glad and will greatly appreciate it if you can support this project. I know it is not easy to share our hard earned money without getting anything in return to people whom we don’t know for no special reason at all. It takes a generous giving heart to do that and I hope you have that heart.

I am praying and hoping to distribute the school supplies before the start of the class which will be on June 6, 2012. If possible, kindly send your donations on or before May 31. So I will still have enough time to buy the school supplies and prepare them for distribution.
